1/24/10 Katie's Healthy Eating Journal: Sunday

by katie 24. January 2010 22:08

I'm hoping I start seeing results from my Julianne Hough Cardio Dancing DVD.  I've been working out routinely every other day and at least doing her video once a week.  However, two days ago the Shape DVD was dancing and so is my Ab Crunch Dancing Cardio DVD.  The main benefit for me is that I love to dance so it makes my workout more enjoyable and it seems to go by quicker.  A lot of websites I read said that it was a great idea if you need a stress reliever - which I seem to need a lot lately.  It helps reduce anxiety and depression while increasing your energy level.  Dance aerobics can also help boost your immune system.  I also like it because it has a bit of strength training in it and helps improve your balance.  According to a chart I found, I burn about 252 calories in 45 minutes.  If you want to check out how much you burn while doing your workouts here's the chart I used...Calories Burning Chart.
